Ready to go...Almost

Awoke this morning to keiths text about this blog, at 5:35 in the blessed A.M.... nice going keith, even the roosters were lucid dreaming at that point. Quickly stuffed my recently purchased pride n joy the Osprey Atmos 50 with all my clothes, consisting mostly of tees and tracks, which by the way inteded mainly for the purpose of camping , but Mr. Keith wussed out on that idea because of his invetiable need to "Bathe" in the morning!, whatever the heck that means.Other than that I just got some last min toiletries to throw in and i m all good to go. Banking on the fact that this day will pass by real quick so i can kick back on the flight to Oakland and prep for a much needed vacation.

Vacation Mode: On

Got up early this morning (early for me is like 3:00am) in anticipation of the beginning of an exciting vacation. Vig and I are flying out to Oakland this evening (positive space even, US 627), and being the loyal US Airways-ite, I even purchased our choice seats and baggage online. We'll catch BART to a hotel in Berkeley for an overnight stay in order to catch the California Zephyr Wednesday morning in Emeryville.

Need to finish packing, tidy the house a bit, get Annie's food ready (thanks to Rhonda for being her caretaker while I'm gone!), and hunt down my video camera.
